This course is designed to help individuals meet the Virginia DMV requirements after failing the learner’s permit or renewal test three times. Completion of this course is mandatory to become eligible to retake the test.
Course Details
Duration: 8 hours.
Eligibility:
Under 18: Must provide proof of completing the classroom component of driver education (36 fifty-minute classroom sessions or a 30-hour online course). Email proof (DTS 36 or DEC-1) to Agiledrivingschool@gmail.com before enrolling.
18 and Older: Must complete either the classroom component of driver education or the 8-hour Driver’s Manual course.
Content: Based on the Virginia Driver’s Manual to better prepare for the general knowledge test.
Final Exam:
Consists of 50 multiple-choice questions.
Passing score: 80% (40 correct answers).
Immediate grading with unlimited free retakes until passing.
Certificate of Completion:
DMV-standardized and required for retaking the permit or renewal test.
Issued electronically within 2 business days upon course completion and payment.
How to Enroll?
Visit our home page and click the “Sign Up” button or select “Sign Up (New?)” in the menu.
Select the Driver’s Manual Course.
Complete the registration form and click “Register”.
Access the course sessions and click “Start Course/Test” to begin learning.
Course Workflow
Complete 10 sessions and quizzes.
Take the final exam after reviewing all chapters.
Exit and re-enter the course as needed—your progress is saved automatically.
Important Notes
Proof of Classroom Completion (Under 18): Email your DTS 36 or DEC-1 form to Agiledrivingschool@gmail.com before enrollment.
The certificate must be printed on plain white, bonded paper (8½” x 11″) with no advertisements.
DMV will not accept altered or non-compliant certificates.
